<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor monitoring system which can realize the reduction in labor cost and material cost. <P>SOLUTION: The monitoring system (20) for motors, especially electric motors, monitors the operation state of the motor (22) using a plurality of sensors (24). Data relating to the operation state is compared with a predetermined criteria, and the system determines whether the data exceed a threshold value or not, and then displays an alarm. The data is stored in a data storage device (26) removable from the monitoring system (20) for access. The operation state includes at least one of a bearing temperature, a winding wire temperature, an ambient temperature, an oil state, vibration, insulation resistance and a current, and the plurality of the sensors (24) individually monitor the respective operation states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
