<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a preamble signal with high accuracy while avoiding erroneous detection upon receiving the preamble signal on a random access channel. <P>SOLUTION: A matched filter 101 generates a delay profile for each known signature from the received preamble signal, and a path detecting part 103 detects a maximum correlation value and a phase of a path having the maximum correlation value from the generated delay profile. A threshold determining part 105 compares the detected maximum correlation value with a specified threshold for determination, and an inversely diffusing part 109 multiplies the received preamble signal by a signature having the maximum correlation value with the detected phase of the path to perform inverse diffusion. A hard deciding part 111 performs hard decision of a result of the inverse diffusion. A preamble detecting part 107 uses a decision result of the threshold determining part 105 and a decision result of the hard deciding part 111 to determine the detection of a preamble signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
