<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight fiber sheet having high strength and excellent acoustic properties. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber sheet having fibers at the surrounding of thermally expandable particles, compressed and formed into a high density is obtained by mixing the thermally expandable particles with the fibers, forming a sheet therefrom, and thermally expanding the thermally expandable particles by heating while regulating the thickness.
