<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate center-positioning carrier jig for a substrate in such a manner that the positions of a solder and an electronic part are not displaced, a method for positioning a center, and a holding method after a positioning. <P>SOLUTION: The accurate center-positioning carrier jig for the substrate is composed of a bottom plate with a hole smaller than the substrate, a tapered plate with a lower hole smaller than the substrate and an upper hole larger than that, a spacer plate with a hole larger than the substrate and a thin upper plate with a hole slightly larger than the substrate. Micro-vibrations are imparted to the carrier jig while introducing the substrate on the carrier jig, in which the tapered plate is superposed on the bottom plate and the spacer plate on the tapered plate and welded and the upper plate is placed freely on the spacer plate, while a vacuum suction nozzle is inserted into the hole from the bottom plate side and evacuated. The substrate is moved along a tapered surface positioned at the center of a carrier-jig hole, sucked, held and lifted by the nozzle, separated from the tapered surface of the carrier jig, and stopped and held at a specified place. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
