<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for laser modulation that can stabilize the quantity of laser light by enabling laser modulation in which a specified response speed is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a laser light source 1, an acoustooptic element 2 which modulates laser light emitted by the laser light source 1, an optical sensor 5 which measures the quantity of laser light, and a function arithmetic part 10 which converts an input indication value into a value to be inputted to the acoustooptic element 2; and a correction coefficient (k) is found from a reference light quantity and the laser light quantity measured by the optical sensor 5, the input indication value is corrected with the correction coefficient (k) to find a corrected input indication value, and the function arithmetic part 10 determines the value to be inputted the acoustooptic element 2 according to the corrected input indication value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
