PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a fluorescent lamp coating which easily and positively cuts the coating of a fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: This cutting device 1 for the fluorescent lamp coating is provided with a cylindrical body 5 through which the fluorescent lamp 2 with its outer peripheral surface 2a coated with the coating 3 can be longitudinally inserted, and a cutting edge 6 provided at the cylindrical body 5 and to cut the coating 3 of the fluorescent lamp 2 inserted through the cylindrical body 5.
