METHOD OF EXECUTING RESTORATION OF WATERPROOF SHEET DETERIORATED WITH TIME AND COATING MATERIAL FOR RESTORATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of executing the restoration with excellent workability capable of prolonging the working life of an existing soft polyvinyl chloride based waterproof sheet deteriorated with time by restoring the flexibility of the water proof sheet. SOLUTION: A coating material comprising an emulsion containing a synthetic resin, a plasticizer and water is applied on the surface of the existing soft polyvinyl chloride based waterproof sheet deteriorated with time and dried. As the coating material for restoration, the emulsion containing 20-200 pts.mass plasticizer per 100 pts.mass synthetic resin-water emulsion in which 40-60 mass% synthetic resin is contained is used.
