PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine in which an output terminal base is strongly fitted to a housing by avoiding the top. SOLUTION: An output terminal base 21 comprises a resin molding 22 where a harness connection part 23 and a fitting part 26 are integrally formed; an internal terminal of which a connection terminal at one end is insert-molded in the resin molding 22 so that it is exposed in a harness slot 24, with a three-phase pick-finding wire connected to the other end; and a three-phase output bolt 30 which is insert-molded in the resin molding 22 to extend in the harness slot 24, with a nut 34 fastened to the extended part, press contacting a connection terminal and a terminal 7a of a three-phase output harness 7. The output terminal base 21 is fitted between the outer periphery of a top 12b and the outer periphery in radial direction of a rear bracket 12 by bonding the fitting part 26 to an end face 12a.
