PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly slide a tab member by lessening a contact area of a tab member for preventing erroneous erasure and a base of the tab member storage part, and also eliminating one-sided abutting of the tab member to the base of the tab member storage part. SOLUTION: In a recording medium cartridge 1, a tab member 92 for preventing erroneous erasure is attached movably to a cartridge housing 2 which contains an information recording medium 3 between a recordable position and an unrecordable position.
