PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a contents distribution service system by which it a user side gan unnecesstate to perform an access by considering the classification of terminal equipment to be used, and a contents providing device side can reduce the burden of operation or cost. SOLUTION: This contents distribution device 40 is provided with: a means 41 which stores a contents set including the record of contents associated with the same item constituted of the entity identifier of the contents and terminal classification with contents set ID; a means 42 which stores user ID and a friendly name tag and the contents set ID as one record; and a means 45 which retrieves the record including the designated user ID and the friendly name tag from the means 42, and retrieves the contents set corresponding to the contents set ID included in the record, and acquires the entity identifier corresponding to the designated terminal classification from the contents set.
