PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape-like insulating material provided with a water-base self-adhesive layer on one side or both sides of an insulating base material, wherein it has a self-adhesive layer which is excellent in insulating properties and without leaving behind the self-adhesive layer after peeling. SOLUTION: The tape-like insulating material is provided with a self-adhesive layer on one side or both sides of an insulating base material, wherein the self-adhesive layer is formed from a water-dispersed acrylic self-adhesive including a copolymer emulsion obtained by emulsion-polymerizing in the presence of an emulsifier a monomer containing as a main component a (meth)acrylic alkyl ester having a 4-12C alkyl group and further containing a carboxy group-containing monomer, and it has an undercoating agent layer formed from an aqueous resin material between the insulating base material and the self-adhesive layer, wherein the contact angle of water on the surface of the undercoating agent layer is 0-90°. It is preferred that the undercoating agent layer is formed from an aqueous resin material having an oxazoline group or a carbodiimide group. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
