摘要 PURPOSE: An active camber control suspension of a vehicle is provided to increase turning performance and braking and driving power by changing camber according to a motion of a strut by moving forcibly an insulator disposed at the strut combined between a vehicle body and a vehicle wheel. CONSTITUTION: An active camber control suspension of a vehicle comprises a strut(1) combined between a vehicle body(F) and a knuckle(N) of a vehicle wheel(W) joined with the other end of a lower arm(L) connected with a sub frame(S) disposed at a lower part of the vehicle body and moved vertically against the external force to absorb and damp shock and a variable unit for changing camber by moving a combined part of the strut and the vehicle body. The variable unit is composed of an insulator, a driving member(10), and a controller(20). The insulator comprises a main support(3) joined with the vehicle body and filled with mass(M) and a sub support(4) welded and fixed to an inner pipe(3') disposed in the center of the main support and combined with a strut arm(2) of the strut to change the camber by moving the strut with the driving member. The driving member is composed of an electric motor(11) rotating forward and reversely and a cable(12) wound around or unwound from a winding shaft(11a) rotated forward or reversely by the motor to move the strut together with the sub support of the insulator. The controller operates the driving member by transmitting a control signal according to a signal of a sensor(30) for detecting the change of the strut through the vehicle wheel.
