PURPOSE: Virtual connectivity having LCT(Local Connection Translation) is provided to clarify local/remote peers' network attachment point modifications to applications, which use network services, using a virtual connectivity protocol and a virtual connectivity module structure. CONSTITUTION: An LCT table(604) comprises present connection specifications(704) and original connection specifications(702). An outgoing protocol unit(706) is intercepted by a virtual connectivity module, and is submitted to an LCT module(602) in order to be translated. Each protocol unit(706-712) is combined with a source IP address and an arrival IP address. The LCT module(602) determines connection specifications for the outgoing protocol unit(706). An incoming protocol unit(710) is intercepted by the virtual connectivity module in order to be translated, and is submitted to the LCT module(602). The LCT module(602) determines whether the incoming protocol unit(710) has been combined with a present connection specification, and executes the lookup of the LCT table(604) in order to find out a corresponding original connection specification.
