<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cable joint structure for connecting composite electronic components through a cable in which reliable shield effect can be obtained without increasing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A flat cable 7 extending from a liquid crystal display section 5 is passed through an insertion hole 25 penetrating a circuit board 3 and connected with the circuit board 3. Conductive shield patterns 27 and 29 are formed to surround the insertion hole 25 on the opposite sides of the circuit board 3.
