<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for customizing image processing parameter, a recording medium, and an image processing device by which a person who installed a device or system can set up an optimum image processing parameter of a new device or system in a short time without doing complicated work or going to a remote place where the device is installed. <P>SOLUTION: The method for customizing the image processing parameter in a server which can connect to a computer network adapts an user's preference, who uses the image processing device, and obtains the image processing parameter of the image processing device having a predetermined image processing algorithm. The method comprises an input urging step which is connected to the computer network and at least urges input of an image adapted for the user's preference, and an image processing parameter determining step which determines the image processing parameter of the image processing device by analyzing the image obtained by the input urging step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
