<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing a plastic lens by which the plastic lens is uniformly and evenly dyed with high concentration. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for dyeing the plastic lens, holding material to hold sublimate dye and the plastic lens are arranged to provide specified space in between so that the holding material may be opposed to the surface to be dyed of the plastic lens. While at least either the holding material or the plastic lens is rotated and/or vibrated, the holding material is heated to sublimate the sublimate dye, whereby the plastic lens is dyed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
