METHOD FOR RECOVERING MIXED SOLVENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a mixed solvent of an organic chlorine solvent and alcohol from a mixed gas of the organic chlorine solvent and the alcohol with less corrosion and efficiently.

SOLUTION: The above object can be accomplished by including (a) an equilibrium adsorption moisture content of 1.0 to 15.0%, (b) a BET specific surface area of 500 to 2,000 m2/g, (c) a pore volume of 0.25 to 1.5 cc/g, and (d) a pore volume having a pore diameter of 6 to 16 Å measured by a water vapor method of 80% or more to a volume accounting for a pore having a pore diameter of 100 Å or smaller, and using (e) activated carbon having a graphite crystalline structure parameter Ip/Io of 0.35 or less in a diffraction peak on a (002) plane of an X-ray diffraction strength curve as an adsorbent.
