METHOD FOR ANALYZING NETWORK TRACE, METHOD FOR DETERMINING RANKING OF NODES, PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR ANALYZING NETWORK TRACE, COMPUTER-EXECUTABLE PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING COMPUTER AS THE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING TIME DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NODES IN NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a more appropriate time correction quantity by executing an apparatus by automatically determining a ranking relationship in transactions of packets from data packets transmitted on a network.

SOLUTION: The processing apparatus which uses data packets transmitted through the network to analyze a network trace includes a memory part 32 for storing trace data generated from the data packets, a packet analysis part 34 which searches packet couples belonging to the same session from the trace data to generate the ranking relationship of nodes, an array data generation part 36 for generating and storing array data for estimating a time difference between the inherent time bases of nodes by using packet couple data and ranking relationship data, and a solution engine part 38 which uses the array data to calculate an estimate value of the time difference and stores the value in the memory.
