<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain quality for a long period by improving the sealing of a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: In the touch panel, an upper substrate 11 and a lower substrate 1 are integrated at a given interval by a sealant 17 that runs in the periphery, gas is injected from an opening 17a in the sealant 17, and after the injection, the opening 17a is sealed with a UV-cured sealant 45. The focal position where a convex lens effect of the sealant 45 focuses UV irradiation is inside the touch panel 40 from the sealant 45.
