<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable recording medium and a video recording reproducing device to which a manual input of information required for recording reservation setting is unnecessary and by which program recording reservation setting is easily performed while viewing program related information. <P>SOLUTION: The recording medium for program recording reservation holds code compressed video information relevant to a program, a reservation setting command for performing the reservation setting of the program and program attribute information including at least starting date and a time of recording reservation. In the video recording reproducing device, when a viewer selects that the recording reservation is performed while viewing a preview video image based on the code compressed video information of the recording medium, the program attribute information is acquired based on the reservation setting command in the recording medium and the recording reservation setting is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
