PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the branching part of an endoscope capable of taking the merging part of a tube for suction and a tube for introducing endo-therapy accessories provided between the boundary part of the tube for the suction and the branching part and the boundary part of the tube for introducing the endo-therapy accessories and the branching part as large as possible without enlarging the branching part of the endoscope. SOLUTION: The branching part 114 of the endoscope merges the tube 116 for the suction and the tube 112 for introducing the endo-therapy accessories provided in an operation part and connects them with a tube 108 for inserting the endo-therapy accessories provided through to the tip part of an insertion part. An airtightness keeping means 132 is housed in a relief part 124 provided on the inner peripheral surface of a connection part 120 with the tube for introducing the endo-therapy accessories formed on the side of the branching part.
