SELF-RESTORATIVE RESIN COMPOSITION, PART FOR LIGHTING EQUIPMENT AND LIGHTING EQUIPMENT USING THE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which restores itself and prevents deterioration by re-bonding broken polymer chains, even when the polymer chains of a resin are broken over time causing the deterioration of a resin composition designed to be durable in use under high temperature conditions. SOLUTION: The self-restorative resin composition contains a heat resistant engineering plastic component or a heat curable resin component in an amount of≥50 mass% of the total components and at least one kind of compound selected from the compounds which are reactive to the reaction of re-bonding the broken polymer chains and the high molecular chains and indirectly re-bonds the broken polymer chains to cope with the time deterioration caused by the breakage of the polymer chains of the resin component.
