PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of efficiently connecting a plurality of radio communication terminals and simplifying the operation in the case, and to provide a control method. SOLUTION: A host apparatus 1 is provided with radio communication modules A, B, C and a control part 5. The radio communication module A has the entry permission authority of the radio communication terminals and authenticates the radio communication terminals by an authentication processing part 2a. The control part 5 cuts the radio communication terminals under radio connection with the radio communication module A from the radio communication module A and performs radio connection with other radio communication modules B, C when the number of radio communication terminals reaches the maximum number of connection in accordance with radio connection of the radio communication terminals. The control part 5 makes the radio communication terminal at the lowest rank among the radio communication terminals under radio connection into a PARK mode when the number of radio communication terminals under radio connection with the radio communication modules A, B, C reaches the maximum number of connection.
