PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that mail contents can not be efficiently confirmed when the conventional portable telephone set has a large amount of received mail, when a user uses a first portable telephone set from a remote location to transfer and confirm unread mail received by a second portable telephone set by remote control. SOLUTION: A terminal device is provided with a mail receiving means, a determining means for determining whether a command declarative statement is present in the received mail, a means for extracting and interpreting a specified command following the command declarative statement when a determination made by the determining means is affirmative, a creation means for creating the list of corresponding target objects in a self-memory when the specified command is to create the list of target objects, and a mail transmitting means for creating and transmitting mail obtained by making the list created by the creation means mail text and making a requester be a destination.
