PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container production method for making a container partly opaque and to provide the container. SOLUTION: The container production method includes: forming a base coat layer 3 on the surface of a container body 3, the base coat layer being prepared by mixing a delustering agent into a white coat or size coat; and forming a printing ink layer 4 for patterns, colors, etc., onto the base coat layer 3.
