PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device having flexibility in design, reducing parts count, and simplifying a structure. SOLUTION: When an operator gives an instruction for switching to a 4WD state, a control portion not shown sends a signal to rotate a cylindrical cam 25. An engaging portion 25a relatively moves in a groove 32b with rotations of the cylindrical cam 25. A shift rod 25 moves in parallel with a driving rod 33, and a shift bracket 35 presses a collar 27 against a spring 28. A shift fork 24 moves an engaged slide gear 23 with movement of the shift rod 25, and a slide gear 23 and a clutch gear 30 are engaged to be the 4WD state. At that time, a spring pin 36 for fixing a slit 39 and the shift bracket 35 is locked to prevent the rotations of the shift rod 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
