PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a biaxially oriented multi-layer polypropylene film which is excellent in hiding properties, surface gloss, low-temperature heat sealing properties having minute pores inside and suitable for a packaging film, etc. SOLUTION: In the biaxially oriented polypropylene film, on one side of a biaxially oriented film substrate layer obtained from a polypropylene composition comprising 70-95 wt.% of polypropylene (A), 3-15 wt.% of calcium carbonate particles (B) 1-5μm in average particle size subjected to surface treatment with a higher fatty acid, and 2-15 wt.% of titanium oxide (C), a coating layer obtained from the polypropylene (A) is laminated, and on the other side, a heat-sealable layer obtained from a propylene-α-olefin random copolymer (D) is laminated.
