PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head which can enhance water repellency, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The inkjet head 1 is equipped with a nozzle plate 29 which has a nozzle 8 for ejecting ink and wherein a water-repellent film 30 composed of an Ni-PTFE film is formed on an ejection surface. The manufacturing method for the inkjet head 1 comprises a film forming process for forming the Ni-PTFE film on the ejection surface of the nozzle plate 29 by plating, a heat treatment process for performing heat treatment at 340-380°C for 10-45 min after the film forming process, and a water-cooling process for performing water cooling by using cooling water at 15-30°C after the heat treatment process.
