PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which can eliminate a discontinuous point in case of the occurrence of such discontinuous point in reproduction of a real time file of an annulus format. SOLUTION: The recording device 1 has a bridge file forming section 14 which forms the bridge file of the annulus format based on at least either of the first real time file of the annulus format corresponding to a first clip and the second real time file of the annual ring format corresponding to a second clip and a recording section 16 which records the bridge file of the annulus format in the prescribed position of an information recording medium 18. Further, the recording device is provided with a decision section 12 for deciding whether the continuous reproduction from the first clip to the second clip is possible or not by recording the bridge file of the annulus format in the prescribed position of the information recording medium 18.
