PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure minute inclination of a measuring object and obtain a precise measured inclination value. SOLUTION: A level comprises a rod member, a base member coupled and fixed to the rod member in parallel, a circular rotating disk which rotates on the base member, an elastic member for making the rotating disk closely adhere onto the base member with a specified elastic force, a bolt member for supporting the elastic member, and an inclination instrument which is provided on one side surface of the rotating disk, is formed so as to be in a flat or a semispherical shape on one side, and have a larger radius of curvature and be approximately flat on the other side, and has a scale indicated at uniform intervals on its outer peripheral surface.
