The nappy string fill evaporation water cooler and cooling tower of this invention are forced evaporation water cooling systems using nappy strings As water cooling heat exchange fillers and a fan which supplies cooling air. The hot or warm is cooled by evaporation process of water flowing down On the sufaces of hundreds of thousands of nappy strings which are vertically and closely packed with fanning of cooling air (indoor air or outdoor atmosphere) and also cooled by temperature difference between water and cooling air. The nappy string holds a large amount of water on Its surface when it is wetted and in turn increases the cooling effect of warm or hot water by maximizing the contacting surface and a time of water and cooling air. The inventing nappy string fill evaporation water cooler and cooling tower using such physical characteristics of nappy string increase the cooling effect of warm or hot water by 15% compared with those of string heat exchange water cooler (Patent No 0393126) and cooling tower (Patent Application No. 10-2003-0035794, Application Date : June 3, 2003 ) using no-nappy strings and in turn reduce the manufacturing cost of string fill water cooler and cooling tower by the same rate.
