摘要

PURPOSE: A semi-transmission reflection LCD panel is provided to equalize light path length of reflection light and transmission light to realize uniform luminance and color tone of the LCD panel in the both cases using external light or backlight. CONSTITUTION: A semi-transmission reflection LCD panel includes an insulating layer(119) of which a top surface is smooth, and a resin layer(160) stacked on the top surface of the insulating layer. A light transmission part(T) is formed at a part of the resin layer with grooves(155) for exposing the top surface of the insulating surface from a bottom surface thereof. Bottom surfaces of the grooves are covered by light transmissive electrodes. Light reflection parts(R) are formed by forming a reflection film(120) on the resin layer except a portion corresponding to the light transmission part. A filter layer is formed on the resin layer via a liquid crystal layer, wherein thickness of the filter layer is increased at the light transmission part.
