PURPOSE: A method for making out a picture file in a mobile phone is provided to enable a user to draw a picture direct in his mobile phone so that the user can decorate his mobile phone suitably according to his taste. CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone user selects the size, design, and frame of an image in a menu(S1). In case that a desired design or frame does not exist in the menu, the user downloads a desired design or frame from a mobile service provider or a contents service site. The user judges whether a change in the color or location of the cursor is required(S2). If a change in the color or location of the cursor is necessary, the user changes the color or location of the cursor suitably(S3). Then the user places the cursor on a desired pixel location and puts a dot(S4). If a desired image is completed, the user stores the completed image(S5,S6).
