<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify component management, stock control and manufacturing and as a result, to reduce a cost of an apparatus itself and a running cost. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of control data blocks for functional setting for setting a plurality of different functions by stand-alone hardware or combination of hardware are prepared among a plurality of pieces of hardware. Furthermore, a plurality of control data blocks for performance setting capable of switching performance of the functions to a plurality of stages are prepared in the data blocks for functional setting.
