<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for immediately acquiring guest room information when a staff needs to know it by using a portable mobile communication terminal with a Web function mounted thereon. <P>SOLUTION: The system is composed of a PHS terminal 10 owned by a staff; a private branch exchange having wireless base stations 11, 12; a hotel server 14; a Web server 17; a PIAFS 18; and an intranet 19 transferring data among these equipment. Position information of the PHS terminal 10, date and time of transmitting and receiving from and to the PHS terminal 10, a destination phone number, a call time, a history of answer or no answer, a name of a guest, check in/out information, etc. are stored in the hotel server 14. When a request for retrieving the room information is transmitted to the Web server 17 via the PIAFS 18 from the PHS terminal 10, the Web server 14 receives the guest room information from the hotel server 14 and edits the guest room information for browser display to transmit it to the PHS terminal 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
