<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion material with a deviation force mitigating structure having the structure sufficiently mitigating the deviation force produced when a user changes the body posture on the cushion material. <P>SOLUTION: This cushion material is provided with a cushion base material 2 composed of soft synthetic resin foam body and a deviation force mitigating material 7 provided thereunder, and the deviation force mitigating material 7 is formed of a gel-like substance layer. The cushion base material 2 is formed with multiple block elements 5 divided by grooves D on its surface, the depths of the grooves D are varied according to the line of a user's body, and parts corresponding to parts where projecting parts in the abutment direction of the body abutting on the cushion material project higher are formed deeper.
