<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which is capable of raising an alarm when a certain portion of the communication apparatus is abnormal. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 9 determines an abnormality in a signal processing part 8 on the basis of an adjustment command from the signal processing part 8. When no adjustment command is imparted from the signal processing part 8 for a second term, when continuously imparting an adjustment command for a third term and when a command lack occurs, the control part 8 determines that the abnormality in the signal processing part 8 occurs and raises an alarm, and thereby an operator is capable of recognizing the presence of the abnormality in the signal processing part 8.
