摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat resistance, durability and reliability of a pressure control means provided in an EGR passage for enabling EGR at a high load. <P>SOLUTION: The EGR control device for an engine 10 comprises an intake port opened to a combustion chamber of the engine 10 and connected with an intake passage 20, an EGR port opened to the combustion chamber of the engine 10 and connected with the EGR passage 40 branching from an exhaust passage 30, an electric compressor 42 provided in the EGR passage 40 for controlling the pressure for introducing EGR gas to into the combustion chamber of the engine 10, and an EGR control valve 43 provided in the EGR passage 40 on the downstream side of the electric compressor 42 for controlling the amount of the EGR gas to be introduced into the combustion chamber of the engine 10.
