<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gas treatment facility and a waste gas treatment method effectively treating waste gas using sodium hydrogencarbonate having a high removability of acidic gas in combustion waste gas, without requiring any particular device for particle size controlling. <P>SOLUTION: The waste gas treatment facility is provided with a cooling tower 1 cooling introduced combustion waste gas, and neutralizing acidic gas in the introduced combustion gas with an alkali treating agent, and a dust collecting means 7 collecting dust by introducing the cooled and neutralized waste gas.
