PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital single lens reflex camera which is constituted so that a photographer can recognize the focal defect of an electronic object image displayed on an electronic view finder caused by the movement of an object in the midst of consecutive photographing and whose handleability is good for the photographer. SOLUTION: The camera is equipped with an imaging means 27, a finder optical system 30, a movable mirror 24, a display means 8, a consecutive imaging control means 41, a contrast decision means for calculating a contrast value from the picked-up electronic image, a comparison means 41, and a warning means 41 performing warning display on the display means 8 when the lowering of the contrast value is decided by the comparison means 41. The consecutive imaging control means 41 is constituted to perform operation that imaging operation and image display operation are repeated in a state where the mirror 24 is still kept at an up-position in the case of consecutive imaging operation. The comparison means 41 is constituted to decide whether or not the newest contrast value in the midst of consecutive imaging operation is lower than the contrast value immediately after the imaging from the contrast value.
