PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small electrical equipment for clearly displaying both stoppage of power supply to a main load 2, like a motor and the switching time of indication so as to ease operators' mind and also allow exact indication of remaining battery capacity, when displaying the battery capacity in the case of electric power supply from a secondary cell 1 to the main load 2. SOLUTION: In this display method, remaining capacity indication is presented during only predefined time periods, after power supply to the main load 2 has stopped and additionally only when short time has elapsed. Further detection of remaining capacity is operated during the period from power supply stop until start of remaining capacity indication, while indication, showing such a remaining capacity detecting operation, is conducted.
