PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user possible to perform voice instruction at user's pace when it is difficult for the user to continue voice instruction or when an erroneous recognition occurs and the user desires re-input. SOLUTION: The vehicle-mounted equipment control device is comprised of a voice signal input means 101 consisting of a microphone for inputting user's utterance, a voice input operation switch 102 for instructing to start/cancel an voice input, a pause switch 103 for instructing a temporary halt and cancellation of the temporary halt, a voice recognition means 104 for analyzing an inputted voice signal and recognizing the contents, a dictionary 105 for voice recognition in which the awaiting words at the time of executing voice recognition are stored, a guidance voice/beep sound output means 106 for outputting a guidance voice and beep sound in the voice input mode, a voice input flow control means 107 for controlling a flow of voice input processing, and a picture output means 109 for displaying a result of voice recognition, or the like.
