AUTHENTICATION METHOD BY LOGICAL PASSWORD, INFORMATION PROCESSOR, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication method by logical password which makes spoofing by a third person difficult. SOLUTION: This method comprises steps of accepting an authentication request from an input interface; collating a user ID to a password table to recognize a corresponding arithmetic expression; outputting an operation candidate data group to an output interface; selecting data from the operation candidate data group and generating a password by substituting the selected data to the arithmetic expression; accepting a password, which a user who selects the data from the operation candidate data group generates by substituting the selected data to the arithmetic expression of the user, by the input interface; collating the generated password with the accepted password; and outputting the result of the collation to the output interface.
