PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact spring for a switch having a shape provided with a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction, and capable of demonstrating an excellent click action function. SOLUTION: This contact spring for a switch is provided with a longitudinal extension part and a lateral extension part, having a dome type bent part at a center part, and is so structured as to exert a click feeling by making a load act on the dome type bent part from its projecting side to buckle it. That is to say, the load is allowed to be supported by the entire circumference thereof by forming it into the dome type in relation to a conventional arch type, and thereby rigidity is enhanced to surely generate a buckling phenomenon so that the excellent click feeling can be provided.
