PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items and to secure high rigidity in a manufacturing process of the coil end of a rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: A coil end structure is formed of a series connecting part 8 that couples a top rotor coil 2 and a bottom rotor coil 3 that are extended from both ends of a rotor core 1 formed by laminating steel plates, and electrically couples them. In the structure, a plurality of resin rings 5 are arranged, the resin rings 5 and the coils 2, 3 are bound and coupled with glass tapes 4 impregnated with resin, and a mixture is poured into the series connecting part 8 to integrally cure the connecting part for reducing the number of the resin rings 5 and the glass tapes 4, thus securing the rigidity of the coil end as a whole.
