PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker unit capable of regenerating a bass sound with a small cabinet, and with a secured output sound pressure level without modifying the structure of the speaker unit. SOLUTION: The inside of a cabinet 20 is divided into two vacant rooms Wb1 and Wb2. A vibration plate 23 having ring-shaped magnetic plates 29a, 29b fixed on a partitioning plate 22 with an edge 24, and ring-shaped fixed magnets 25, 27 are disposed oppositely to the magnetic plates 29a, 29b. With this, the vibration of the vibration plate 23 being vibrated by a sound pressure of the speaker unit 21 is intensified by the suction force of the magnets 25, 27, enabling a reduced acoustic stiffness of the cabinet, as well as an equivalently increased cabinet capacity.
