RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND RADIO COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize vicarious reception of data transmitted from a base station to a terminal when the terminal temporarily exists in a place where electric waves are so weak that the terminal cannot obtain sufficient power. SOLUTION: When moving through a place in a tunnel 201 where electric waves of a first radio communication system are weak, a radio communication terminal 150 uses a second radio communication system which has a higher communication speed than that of the first radio communication system although having a narrower service area, to request vicarious reception of packetized data only for down to a radio communication device 100. The radio communication device receives the packetized data only for down from a base station 200 while the radio communication terminal 150 moves at the place where the electric wave of the first radio communication system is weak. The radio communication terminal 150 uses the second radio communication system to receive data vicariously received by the radio communication device 100 when going out of the tunnel 201 and restarts communication by the first radio communication system.
