PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid deterioration in the image quality due to deficient or excessive correction of a defective pixel. SOLUTION: A flowchart denoting an extraction method of correction data includes: steps S601, S602 of reading positional information of a defective pixel of a solid-state imaging element and information related to its output level; steps S603, S604 of extracting the defective pixel being a correction object on the basis of the read information items; and a step S606 of generating the correction data having information with respect to the position of the defective pixels so that the number of defective pixels to be corrected can properly be determined.
