PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input method and device that can be used even in a special environment. SOLUTION: The information input device comprises a light emission part 1, a transparent material 2 on which light from the light emission part 1 is incident, a light reception part 3 for receiving reflected light when an object 5 reflective of light is pressed on the transparent material 2, and a reflected light determination part 4 for determining an input of information upon an output of the light reception part 3.
