PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perpetual calendar which has a compact main part and enables a user to quickly check the day of the week. SOLUTION: The perpetual calendar 1 is equipped with: a date dial 2 having a day display window 5 formed in an arcuate shape to display each of the days of the week of one week and a date display element 6 arranged beneath the day display window 5; and a day dial 3 which is arranged on the rear side of the date dial 2, is disposed rotatably at the date dial 2 and on which the days of the week are described sequentially in a circumferential direction at the position superposed on the day display window 5. The dates of the date display element 6 are arranged in a plurality of lines one week each, and each of the lines is arranged in the arcuate shape along the day display window 5. Thereby, the spacing between the date display element and the day display window is made small and the moving distance of the visual line when the day of the week and the date are made to correspond to each other is made small.
